BioStrata further enhances its rapidly growing marketing and PR teams to deliver industry-leading solutions across life sciences

BioStrata, the life science marketing and PR specialist, has appointed four new team members to meet growing demand and the changing requirements of clients within life sciences.

To amplify the strategic marketing offer, Lauren Heap, an experienced Inbound Marketing specialist, joins BioStrata as Marketing Account Director. Lauren brings more than 17 years’ experience within the marketing industry, having worked with clients ranging from small boutique businesses to blue-chip industry leaders. She has been championing Inbound Marketing for close to 13 years and has worked with clients across the globe, designing, implementing and facilitating integrated marketing strategies. Lauren’s skill set includes strategy development, marketing communications, social media, lead generation and public speaking.

Fred Schwaller has been appointed as a Science Writer further expanding the content team. Fred is a writer who draws from both scientific and creative writing experience. Prior to becoming a writer, he spent almost a decade in neuroscience research during his PhD and post doctorate studies. He has experience of writing within the life sciences industry and has published research articles about touch sensation and journalistic pieces about neuroscience-art. Fred is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to this role and applying it to the different content pieces required across the client base.

Lea Vitezic joins the public relations team as PR Account Executive. Having recently graduated with first class BA (Hons) in Journalism and an MA in Media and Communications, Lea has PR agency experience and more recently, has focused on pharmaceutical PR. This has included co-founding a platform to report on solutions for the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences, interviewing experts and leading panel discussions. Lea’s PR and journalistic skillset combined with her passion for media and interest in the life science industry bring a fresh approach to the BioStrata PR team.

In addition, Debbie Lee joins BioStrata as Office Manager. She brings with her more than 20 years of experience in overseeing and streamlining the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of a business. She is passionate about company culture and cultivating an environment that nurtures creativity, productivity and a sense of belonging. Debbie also enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting a diverse set of team members and clients around the world.
