Titled ‘The essentials in a synthetic chemist’s toolbox’, the series was the idea and work of technical advisor, Dr Carin Seechurn. In palladium catalysed cross-coupling reactions, users should be aware of a number of potential issues, particularly when scaling up their process from gram to kilogram quantities. The video highlights some of these so that scientists can consider at a much earlier stage the measures they need to take to reduce later scale-up obstacles.
