The BioConductor program, a widely used open-source software project, provides tools for the analysis and comprehension of high-throughput genomic data. However, the process of curating and managing such data can be time-consuming and complex. This collaboration between CUNY and Genestack aims to address these challenges and enhance the efficiency of data curation for BioConductor users. Genestack's powerful data management platform offers a range of capabilities that will greatly simplify the data curation process. Researchers will be able to easily upload, organize, and annotate their genomic data, reducing the time and effort required for data management and analysis. The platform also provides robust data security and privacy features, ensuring the protection of sensitive information. “Our project aims to enhance the AI/ML readiness of publicly accessible omics data, with a particular emphasis on enhancing metadata quality. Led by the team at the City University of New York, we are closely collaborating with Bioconductor and multiple institutions, including the University of Colorado, the University of Trento, and Northeastern University.” Sehyun Oh, Assistant Professor at City University of New York explained. “We chose ODM as our primary metadata curation tool for several reasons.
