The merged portfolio and positioning reflect SPT Labtech's commitment to harnessing the ingenuity and product development track record of its extended business to help scientists do better research. The unified brand builds on the company’s 2021 strategic acquisitions of Apricot Designs (“apricot”), a liquid handling instrumentation provider, and BioMicroLab, a specialist in benchtop automation. The milestone also follows the recent appointment of a reinforced leadership team for SPT Labtech, tasked with overseeing and consolidating the entire business's commercial, sales and product development operations to further the company's ambitious growth plans.
